Young vines need support as they grow, ensuring they lignify straight and are protected against damage from wind and browsing animals.

5cm Band Ties are rubber bands with anti-UV treatment to prevent brittleness and discolouration. Quick and easy to install, these durable bands attach the vine securely to the tutor whilst their elasticity allows the vine to grow without any restriction as the trunk expands. 5cm Band Ties can be easily removed and reused for several years.

It is standard practice to use two ties per trunk: one secured below the crown, one approximately 20cm off the ground.
