18 MONTHS TO PRODUCE A VINE PLANT

Establishing a healthy vineyard begins long before a vine is planted. The infographic below illustrates the 18-month journey of a grapevine, from propagation and grafting at the nursery through to planting in the vineyard. It provides an insight into the specialist processes and careful planning required to produce high-quality vine plants.
Much of this work takes place behind the scenes and the technical expertise involved in vine propagation and grafting is often overlooked. VineWorks has built long-standing relationships with leading European nurseries and has worked with Pépinières Tourette for more than a decade. Their commitment to producing high-quality vines helps ensure every new vineyard gets the best possible start.
