Side protection nets are made of UV-stabilized polyethylene that withstands all weather conditions. The particularly lightweight and easy-to-handle nets fitted with Velcro to close the net easily can be deployed early and, when correctly installed, ensure optimal protection against birds and insects. The mesh structure allows unrestricted water permeability and does not impede the use of pesticides in any way. These can reach the vines unhindered. This side protection net provides efficient all-around protection for valuable crops.

Frost damage poses a significant risk to UK vineyards, particularly in spring when young shoots and buds are most vulnerable to sudden temperature drops. Late frosts can destroy developing vine tissue, reducing yields and affecting fruit quality. The UK's relatively cool climate and unpredictable weather patterns make vineyards especially susceptible.

Implementing frost protection measures is essential to mitigate these risks. A proactive frost protection strategy can safeguard crops, ensuring consistent production and protecting the financial investment in the vineyard.
